The salary range for this role, based in New York is $75,000 to $100,000, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Background

Pernod Ricard has placed significant bets on the growth that modern marketing can deliver. Key components for success include a robust Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool to serve as a centralized repository of assets for all PRUSA marketing content and a best-in-class Digital Shelf to fuel research and drive sales both online and offline.

Over the past 18 months, PRUSA's DAM - ContentCloud - has transformed into a best-in-class tool with consistent taxonomy, enhanced governance and streamlined user experience - ensuring PRUSA team members and external stakeholders have the tools they need to be successful deploying programs in market. Similarly, our Digital Shelf has evolved significantly, focusing on foundational systems & capabilities while transforming our content and data to deliver an experience that serves the needs of our consumers.

Position Summary

The Marketing Accelerator team is a Center of Excellence responsible for driving effectiveness and superior capabilities across critical marketing activities such as Media, Content Production & Orchestration, eCommerce and Consumer Experience. Reporting to the Head of Content Strategy & Activation, the Content Manager will work across the organization to lead and manage a critical component within the Content team, ensuring the management, discovery, delivery, distribution and usage of Brand assets are optimized across Brand Marketing, Commercial, Field Marketing and cross-functional teams to enable flawless execution from media to shelf.

The Content Manager will be responsible for the ongoing oversight of 1) ContentCloud with the support of an external partner handling day-to-day management. This model will allow the Content Manager to spend time focused on driving user adoption and identifying gaps and opportunities to establish ContentCloud as the single source of truth for PRUSA and 2) Management of Digital Shelf content, partnering with eCommerce, Brands and The Mix to ensure up-to-date and optimized content.

Key Responsibilities

DAM Operations & Management: Lead the overarching management & futureproofing of PRUSA's Digital Asset Management system (DAM) - ContentCloud.

Manage the relationship, contract and system needs with established technology partner, Bynder.

Set roadmap & oversee external partner, Stacks, in day-to-day management of tool including:

  • Optimization of workflows, processes, standards and timelines for content asset management
  • Adherence to updated naming conventions, taxonomy and tagging standards to ensure assets meet internal and external customer needs
  • Advancement of processes and automation for asset archiving
  • Communication across internal cross-functional teams to address portfolio needs
  • Ongoing training to increase user adoption and ensure frequent & new users have the tools they need

Deliver enhanced visibility to platform engagement, uncovering gaps to close.

  • Partner closely with IT to utilize established scorecard to assess content by brand against aligned KPI's
  • Ensure consistency of assets across brands including assets required for e-Commerce, BTL & quality bottle images

Work-cross functionally with all relevant brand/partner stakeholders to ensure embedding of new processes, adherence to timelines and ongoing refinement of process.

Digital Shelf Content Management: Lead management of Digital Shelf content between eCommerce, Brands & the Mix.

Oversee process of Digital Shelf Content Management across relevant stakeholders.

  • Partner with Digital Shelf Analysts to identify and track gaps in creative needs for retailer-optimized content
  • Identify new asset needs & manage asset creation process in partnership with the Mix, Digital Shelf and Brands.
  • Oversee content updates within Salsify (Product Information Manager), including new items and brand refreshes
  • Partner with Digital Shelf Analysts and Brand Teams to ensure updated assets are delivered to sales organization and retailers in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the Digital Shelf creative process and drive adoption across organization

Systems Strategy Integration, Embedding & Adoption: Coordinate, manage and streamline all intersection points with DAM - including Global owned DAM, IT Solutions integrations, sales and customer/retail partner needs as well as Salsify, our PIM (product information manager).

  • Ongoing optimizations between local and global DAM systems
  • Ongoing optimization between local and global DAM systems and Salsify (our PIM)
  • Work with IT on system integrations, back-end needs and implementation alongside external partner, Stacks
  • Identify Coordinate customer/distributor needs and communication process with key sales/channel team leads

Content Special Projects: Support special projects as needed across all Content Marketing activities, systems and processes.

  • Ensure collaboration and close integration with Media, eCommerce and Operations pillars of Marketing Accelerator team

Job Requirements

The role requires a motivated self-starter with strong project management, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong ability to embed new processes, manage obstacles and serve as a change agent.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience / Background: 6-8+ years of marketing experience, with 4+years working within a content management system or content operations function in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have project management experience running programs from strategy to execution, is exceptionally well-organized, detail-oriented and process-driven, and the ability to able to think through short- and long-term strategy as it relates to content priorities. Ready to influence and implement new ways of working and work in an agile environment. Able to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team.
