This position reports to

Director Of Customer Service Sales

Your role and responsibilities

Penetrate into IB, promoting various upgrades, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customers and ABB
Understand the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plan, reviews them and proposes recovery plans when needed
Utilize IB database to understand the existing IB and identify and develop sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB or new IBs in the market
Focus on the entire service portfolio to secure profit for assigned business/product groups
Generate service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and through identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios
Sell entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated areas
Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings)
Translate the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions
Establish long term customer relationships by understanding their requirements and applicable regulations and by demonstrating in depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)
Document customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Update IB in the Service database regularly with the changes made at site
Contribute to risk assessments related to price and quality
Register required information into the appropriate customer database
Plan and perform the right number of weekly sales visits and report them on CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Report leads/opportunities, manage and update pipeline in CRM
Update and monitor sales proposals and tenders and follow up on proposal statistics
Communicate contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy and manages administrative sales processes

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Sales or Engineering field with minimum of 8 years of experience in support sales, sales, proposals/quotes, account management or customer support OR High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 10 years experience in support sales, sales, proposals/quotes, account management or customer support
